Dr. Hamdy
A.Azim
A Professor of clinical and radiation
oncology, Cairo University. He received his Doctorate's degree from the
University of Cairo 1986 followed by post doctor's training in
institute Currie, Paris. He is a member of many professional
organizations; top of the list are the American Society of Clinical
Oncology (ASCO), European Blood&Marrow Transplantation Society (EBMT),
European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO) and many others. Dr. Azim
represented the middle east in the ASCO International Affaire Committee
1997 as well as the Secertary General of the ASCO PAN-ARAB conference on
malignant Lymphoma 1999.Currently, Dr. Azim is an editor for the LANCET
Middle East journal. Dr. Azim has been nominated as
scientist of the year 2002 from the International Biographical
Center (IBC) of Cambridge as well as the Order of Merit
from the same center for his outstanding performance in cancer treatment.
Dr. Azim is the head of the Cairo Cure team.
Dr. Dina
A.Monem
A specialist of clinical oncology and
bone marrow transplantation, Cairo University. She was the first member of
the current team to join Cairo Cure in 1990. She
received a training course on peripheral stem cell and bone marrow
transplant in Lied Transplant Center, University of Nebraska,
Omaha-Nebraska, USA, 1995. She maintained a state of the art work through
out the past fifteen years in Cairo
Cure. Dr. A.Monem is an active member of the American Society of
Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and is currently the medical director of our
center.
Dr.Tamer
el Nahhas
A consultant
of clinical and radiation oncology, Cairo University. He received his
Masters degree from the University of Cairo 1998. In
2001, He received advanced radiation technology
courses in IMRT and 3D-conformal in charity Berlin hospital, Germany. In
May 2003, he earned his Doctorate's degree from
Cairo University. Dr. Nahas joined
our team in May 2003 and is currently responsible for Cairo Cure radiotherapy services.
Dr. Enas Siessy
A specialist of
clinical oncology and bone marrow transplantation, Cairo University. She served as a resident in
the period from 1997-2000. She received her Masters degree from
Cairo University 2000.
Dr. Siessy received her postgraduate training in MD Anderson Cancer center.
A very professional and responsible physician involved as a
co-investigator in most of our international trials.
Dr.
Nermine S. Kamal
A specialist of clinical oncology and
bone marrow transplantation, Cairo University. She earned her Masters
degree from the University of Cairo 2002. Dr. Kamal joined Cairo Cure team
in 1998 and since then she managed to be the patients' first choice of the
junior staff.
Dr.
Rehab Tolba
A specialist of clinical oncology and
bone marrow transplantation, Cairo University. She earned her Masters
degree from the University of Cairo 2002.
Dr.Tolba is basically involved
in our outpatient services.
Dr. Mohamed
Raouf
Dr.Raouf joined Cairo Cure team in
October 2002. A compassionate, dedicated physician earned his USMLE
certificate in 1998 and served as a research fellow in Washington hospital
center, Washington, USA for one year.
Dr.
Rabab
Mohamed
A specialist of clinical and radiation
oncology, Cairo University. She earned her Masters degree from the
University of Cairo 2003. A hard working
physician joined Cairo Cure February 2004 and is basically involved in our
radiation services.
Dr. Wessam Elghamry
A specialist of radiation oncology, Ein shams University. He joint our
team in July 2004. Dr. Elghamry boosted his performance quickly to become
one of our reliable physicians.
Dr. Ehab Sedewy
A specialist of radiation oncology, Ein shams University. He succeeded in
becoming a cornerstone only one month after joining Cairo Cure. A
compassionate, ambitious and very promising oncologist involved in both
outpatient and inpatient services
Dr.
Hatem A.Azim
Dr. Azim joint our team in
September 2000 as an undergraduate trainee. He earned his MBBCH degree
from Cairo University in 2003. He received his undergraduate training in
the
University of Nebraska Medical Center.
A current resident of medical
oncology in NCI and a junior ESMO member; responsible
for our international joint programs and manuscript publications.
Dr. Rasha A.Tawab
A hard working physician joint our team in 2003 and currently serving as a
research fellow in our center basically responsible for data entry.
Dr. Hatem Dawood
Dr. Dawood joint our team in late 2004. He started his carrier as a
clinical pathologist till joining our team to become an oncologist with
alot of potential. Dr. Dawood is involved in our inpatient section.
Dr. Tarek Yakout
A fresh graduate joint our team in mid 2005 and involved in our outpatient
service as well as in registration.
