"Regardless ......... I am Cured"

Yehia Amin had no idea what was in store for him when he first complained of chest tightness and some difficulty in breathing. Images had proved the presence of a lung problem which turned out to be an aggressive lung cancer.

"At first, I was very confused, but as a matter of fact I was really scared. After consulting with Dr.Azim, I felt a lot more comfortable. He gave me hope when he told me that I was definitely a treatable case". 

Yehia Amin initiated treatment by receiving 6 cycles of chemotherapy followed by radiation which led to a complete remission and the disease disappeared. "I was so happy that I was cured within only 5 months..!!". However, the story didn't stop here for Yehia. After only 4 months, he started to complain of the same episodes of breathing difficulties and investigations done revealed recurrence of the aggressive disease again.

Yehia started chemotherapy again, but this time he didn't tolerate chemotherapy too well. He had to receive blood packs alot to with stand the aggressive protocol he was set on. "I was depressed but whenever I looked at my family, they gave me the initiative to pull through and be strong for their sake".

Yehia had reached a complete remission once again but a year later we had unfortunately more bad news...... ANOTHER RELAPSE....!! "I kept faith in God, I was comfortable by the way they handled my case in Cairo Cure and I had the enough confidence to start chemotherapy again".

Yehia now in complete remission. Over than one year now and he is leading a peaceful life "REGARDLESS...I AM CURED, everybody feels that cancer is a monster but honestly I don't feel that now at all. I must also say that I owe it all to the extremely co-operative and professional staff at Cairo Cure. They were there for me every step during my treatment and helped me great deal in maintaining my sense of self security".
