Ongoing Studies
I) BCIRG 005
A Multicenter phase III randomized trial comparing
Docetaxel in combination with Doxorubicin and Cyclophosphamide (TAC) versus
Doxorubicin and Cyclophosphamide followed by Docetaxel (AC-T) as adjuvant
treatment of operable breast cancer HER2nue negative patients with positive
axillary lymph nodes.
II) BCIRG
006
A Multicenter phase III trial comparing Doxorubicin
and Cyclophosphamide followed by Docetaxel (AC-T) with Doxorubicin and
Cyclophosphamide followed by Docetaxel and Trastuzumab (AC-TH) and with
Docetaxel, Platinum salt and Trastuzumab (TCH) in the adjuvant treatment of
node positive and high risk node negative patients with operable breast
cancer containing the HER2neu alteration.
III)
ZO-FAST
A Multicenter phase III trial comparing
addition of Zoledronic acid (whether upfront or delayed)
to Letrezole in prevention of osteoporosis in adjuvant treatment of hormonal
positive postmenopausal breast cancer
IV)
FEMALE STUDY
A Multicenter phase III trial comparing
the role of
Letrezole as a first line treatment in postmenopausal metastatic breast
cancer either alone or concomitant with chemotherapy or sequential following
chemotherapy
V)
ELECTRA
A Multicenter phase III trial comparing
Letrezole alone versus Letrezole and Trastuzumab as a
first line treatment in the metastatic setting in postmenopausal hormonal
positive breast cancer containing the HER2neu alteration
VI) ABREAST
A Multicenter phase IV trial on breast cancer registration on adjuvant
strategies. An observational study to view the clinical pattern of patients
with early stage breast cancer and characterize existing and evolving
practice patterns
VII)
NSCLC retrospective analysis
A
retrospective analysis of 150 cases of non small cell
lung cancer treated in
our facility in the period from 2000-2003. To study the impact of different
chemotherapy combination on survival and time to progression
VIII) Rituximab in the
management of aggressive non-hodgkin lymphoma
A phase II trial assessing Rituximab based chemotherapy combination in
different clinical settings in aggressive non-hodgkin lymphoma carrying poor
prognosis.
